Packard Bell recalls laptop batteries in Europe

Packard Bell is recalling the laptop batteries in four models of laptop computers sold mostly in Europe due to possible overheating or fire, the vendor said Wednesday. The units were mostly sold in Europe, and none of the affected ones were sold in the U.S. Packard Bell advised that the batteries be removed the computers be run with the power cord.
